| Impel announces 5,9 mln pln H1 net profit |
| Grupa Impel, the biggest outsourcing services company in Poland, posted Q2 revenues of 251 mln pln, an increase of 33,9 mln pln from Q2 2007. The firm also announced the sale of subsidiary Promedis to Lux-Med, which is rapidly consolidating the medical sector with the strong financial backing of MidEuropa Partners. |

| AmCham Independence Day picnic |
| The American Chamber of Commerce held their annual 4th of July picnic, at Warsaw's Krolikarnia. Taking part were nearly 1000 guests of AmCham and the United States Ambassador to Poland, Victor Ashe. Highlights included U.S. Marine Corps soldiers, live music, and fireworks. Platinium sponsors were General Motors Poland, Telekomunikacja Polska S.A., McDonald's Polska and Gold sponsor Federal Express Poland.

| Regions get awards for best EU funds receipt |
| The second edition of the "Europejska Gmina - Europejskie Miasto" was held 25 June at the Hotel Polonia Palace in Warszaw. The event awards were given to cities and regions that have been mostly successful at obtaining EU funds and grants. The event also distinguished private companies and other organizations who have mastered the EU bureaucracy. The event was sponsored by the Ministry for Regional Development. |
